No bells or whistles, and a bit more streamlined. Still looks mostly the same.
Yet Another Overhaul

Some changes, both minor and major. I've tweaked the navigation boxes on *all* pages. Hopefully, this is both an aesthetic and functional improvement. Aside from the task of addding, removing, or altering code on every webpage that can be accessed, that's the *minor* adjustment!
I've created a new series of webpages for two functions. The first is to provide a better target for search engines. The second is to provide a little more ease of navigation for my catalogues, particularly my Anime guides.
I've corrected an error I made in uploading an older version of my e-mail form.
And finally, I've removed the couple of extra steps in accessing my catalogues from the splash page.
It's been a busy month. :)
Overhaul Pretty Much Complete

Many updates were completed while this page has been neglected, since July. ^.^;
This update: The Information Center and all related pages were transferred to their own directory. Every other file on the site that linked to these pages were also updated accordingly. I'm not going to bother listing *those* here.
Currently, the Pre-Order and Anime catalogues are closed; both require the same link updates, as well as general maintenance. I want to do all this at the same time.

E-mail page arrangement has been condensed to one page again, incorporating FAQ into the form design.

After making a few minor modifications here and there, I finally sat down and lined out my new Subscribers' policy and updated all the Information Center Q&A pages to reflect the new policies. I need to tweak my e-mail form pages again, having decided that the anteroom isn't such a hot idea, and to add a couple of ideas to the form itself.
Another Overhaul

The "facelift" I promised hasn't even been seriously considered yet, but I'm already making some significant changes, and have a few more ideas. What's to come:
- Condensing the "e-mail" and "order" options into one function...
- Altering the e-mail form and function, and adding a FAQ anteroom...
- Removing the "Wildcat's Lair Index" completely...
And there's more to come. I'll update this page lining out the changes and noting the details as I go!
Details:
I've removed the original Order Form entirely; all orders will be sent using the E-Mail Form. I've added an FAQ "Anteroom" to head off some of those questions that keep popping up in my e-mail, with a launch into the actual Form page from there. I've updated the form scripts so that omitting the e-mail address, or both the zip and state fields, will *not* send a blank e-mail to myself, but will direct the user to a newly created error page asking them to try again. (This should also put an end to the spam-harvesting bots that keep tripping my forms and sending me blank mail!)
The Wildcat's Lair Index is now shut down. I've updated the Disclaimer page to add the explanation and remove all links to the Index pages.
New Site Layout

I've chosen to move all the titbits that are related directly to the Wildcat's Lair website, but otherwise unrelated to the sale of comic books or other merchandise, to this very page. This obviously includes this announcement, but also pertains to other previous site news items. The splash page will be dedicated to comics and sales information.

Funny how these things work out...
As of my last update (way back in August), I was awaiting an involuntary downtime courtesy my ISP of choice. Well, August 26 came, went -- and I never got bumped. Now, I'm not complaining in the least. It's just another indication of my ISP's incompetence, only this time, it seems to be working in my favour. And I *am* partial to my DSL service!
However, I'm about to experience yet *another* transition, which may result in my being without Internet access after all. I don't yet know when this will occur, but I'll keep you posted. Even then, things will be business as usual around here!
Over the past few months, I've received various requests for back issues. While I've had no problems filling a couple of orders, and have had to decline a couple of others because I was unable to locate the requested merchandise, there are a few of you out there who I've simply lost contact with -- your e-mail address no longer functions, or you haven't responded, or whatever. If you're one of these folks who appear to have fallen through the cracks, and wish to have your order filled, or simply wish to ask to cancel, please contact me soon as you're able! Let me know what you ordered, to help speed up the process!
I recently felt it necessary to temporarily advertising on Keenspot. The decision was based purely on my budget, and should *not* reflect badly on Keenspot. If you don't already read the webcomic strips they host, I really recommend you check them out -- and look through Keenspace while you're at it! There are some pretty good strips there as well, if you look hard enough!
Finally, if you check this page often, I apologize for the lack of updates since mid-August. I certainly have no excuse for being so lazy. At any rate, thanks for checking in!

It's time for a change!
Several changes, in fact. After a disagreement with my webhost -- I would say that I've been with them for three years, but since they were bought out by some other folks, I don't consider that accurate -- I made the decision to move to a friendlier host. I'm proud to announce that Wildcat's Lair is now hosted by Rdwarf.com!
I also decided that maybe it was time for a site design overhaul, and felt this was a great opportunity to do it all at once. If you've visited before, the changes are obvious. I won't bother to describe them. :) However, as usual, if anything here needs clarification, just drop a line!
