Payment Q&A
- Q:
When will my payment be due?
- A: The payment for an order is due as soon as possible after I receive and confirm your order. Until I receive payment for that order, I won't place any future orders for you. In other words, you might miss out on a month of books if you don't get the previous month paid for on time! (Under certain conditions, I'm willing to make exceptions.) Don't worry... if something goes hideously wrong, I'll be more than happy to refund the cost of one or more books.
- Note: Please don't send your payment until I reply to your e-mail and verify the total. It might also be good to send a copy of your order with the payment, also!
- Q:
What forms of payment do you accept?
- A: I accept personal checks and money orders, in US funds, please! If you live outside the US, hang loose, go here for more information!

- Q:
Do you accept cash?
- A: Only if you're handing it to me in person. You should never send cash by snail mail -- lost checks or money orders can be cancelled with little or no loss to yourself. If you lose cash in the mail, it's gone.
- Q:
Who do I make the check or money order payable to?
- A: Make checks or money orders payable to Wildcat's Lair.
- Q:
Do you accept credit cards?
- A: I don't accept direct credit card payments at this time, although I now hope to soon be able to accept credit card payments in the near future.

- Q:
Do you collect sales tax?
- A: If you reside outside the state of Kansas, I won't collect sales tax on your order. Your state will wish to collect a "Use Tax", a tax placed on those purchases you may make from other states on which no sales tax is levied. This is usually no more than the base sales tax of the state in which you reside. I urge you to contact your state's Department of Revenue (or its equivalent) and learn more about Use Tax.
- A: For Kansas residents only: I am required to collect sales tax on any purchase made from within the state of Kansas, at the rate equivalent to the combination of state, county, and local sales taxes in the city in which I've set up shop. I currently operate in Wichita, Kansas (Sedgwick county). As of July 1, 2003, the comibination of state and county sales tax rates is 6.3%.
